Dr. Igor Estrovich was born in Moscow, Russia and has been living in Cleveland from an early age. He went to Brush High School and then went on to Case Western Reserve University to earn an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering. He stayed on at Case to earn his medical degree and then completed his ophthalmology residency at the Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland. He then completed a glaucoma surgical fellowship at the Devers Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon before returning home to Cleveland to begin his practice. Dr. Estrovich has been active in research and has published several-peer reviewed articles and book chapters relating to glaucoma and cataract surgery. He has an interest in cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, eye trauma and emergencies. Dr. Estrovich is married with a young son, and enjoys cooking, traveling, painting, and playing chess.
